FIRST WORDS:
You may have heard a rumour of me porting my C64 games over to the Amiga, and you are wondering if it's true? Well, short answer will be; The rumour is true! My idea is to port all (or some) of my C64 collection games and make it into Amiga version games. I'll probably use different ways of making that happen. This game is written in AMOS Professional for example. Next game will be made in.. Well, you will need to wait and see. Anyway.. Have fun!
THE STORY:
Our hero - EL GRINGO - is infamous for being the fastest and most dangerous gunslinger in the wild, wild west. But he is tired of killing, and wants to retire from his gunslinger career to settle down with his true love, MISS. JIGGLYTITS. However, having this stellar reputation tempt outlaws from the whole wide west to seek him down for duels! Will it be possible for EL GRINGO to survive his retirement day and get to his true love?
AIM OF THE GAME:
To get to his true love, EL GRINGO has to gun down 6 outlaws on 3 different stages: The Desert, The City and The Graveyard. Each outlaw is slightly quicker than the previous, so EL GRINGO has to summon all his reaction, speed, and will to survive.
HOW TO PLAY:
Press space to start the game. Place your fingers on the keyboard while you GET READY. When a random character is displayed on the screen, you have to press the same character on the keyboard to draw and shoot your gun! If you are too slow, or you press the wrong character, you will get wasted. To quit the game and return to the intro press "RUN/STOP"
TIPS:
This game works best on real hardware or a Amiga 1200 setup in WinUAE/FS-UAE

FACTS:
The Commodore 64 version of this game was released in 2017 as a physical version, distributed on a Reset 64 coverdisk (magazine issue number 10, august 2017).
Updated:
The game can now exit to WB/CLI by pressing ESC on the intro screen.

I added the game to AmigaLive "single-player" game list, so once you purchase/download and drop the ADF inside the Floppies folder, you can start playing :)
You can also connect and play turn-based with anyone to compare scores in real time!

What is the file format of of the file "tombstones"? It has no file ending. Is this lha?
The one without an extension is an .exe file. Amiga accepts no extensions names, so thats probably why I didn't take the time to add an extension. :)
Nice game, realistic shooting mechanics, requires fast fingers. I have also added it to my new video along with other recently released games. Hope you like it.

Please could you consider adding a key to exit the game back to workbench, as some will install this on HD. Perhaps ESC or F10 from the title screen. Cool little game BTW.
